Over the knee boots have been in fashion for about 5 years now, thanks to Stuart Weitzman creating his best-seller boots and every fashion minded girl wanting to wear them! An over-the-knee boot should be a staple for your fall and winter wardrobes.
How to Wear Them
If I’m being completely honest, I was totally intimidated by them a few years ago. I thought I couldn’t pull them off because I was petite. So not true, and I think every girl looks great in them: tall or short! If you’ve been wanting to try out the trend and are a little unsure, today I thought it would be helpful to show you different ways.
The best way to wear them is with skirt and sweater dresses, but a lot of fashionistas wear them also with jeans and a sweater. Because they’re a more form fitting boot, wear them with a skinny jean and an oversized top.
The oversized top or sweater creates balance between the top (looser) half of your body and the skinny jean/boots (tighter) part.
Stuart Weitzman's OTK Boots
They’re every fashionista’s dream boots! Not only do they look stunning but they’re also extremely comfortable. Made with stretched suede with a leather footbed and rubber sole, they’re by far the most comfortable boots I own. You can literally walk a mile in these and not feel any discomfort.
Stuart Weitzman's are literally my favorites. They’re an investment piece for sure, depending on a style, and they retail around $700. Make sure to waterproof your boots so they last longer. There are a lot of cheaper versions of OTK boots if you are on a budget.
Black
The first pair would, of course, be the the classic black one. I would buy one without a high-heel so that I can wear it as my everyday shoe. Black goes with everything, it’s a neutral color, and it will endure loads of wear and tear!
Very light (off white, light gray or ivory)
The second pair of your OTK boots would be a light colored pair without a high-heel. Same principle as above: I would wear it for everyday/casual occasions with more light colored outfits. A nice color would be beige or light gray.

Fendi
I have noticed Fendi stretch fabric over the knee boots on couple of famous fashion bloggers this fall. They are of sort a blend of stockings and boots. They are made of matte black leather with an all-over FF motif on stretchy fabric in tones of black and brown. These boots are not cheap and retail at $1,590.
